Description	Our model railroad features a double main line with a mountain branch railroad. We operate with a Digitrax radio DCC system and many of our locomotives have Soundtraxxdecoders. The kids just love it when we hand them a throttle and let them run a sound-equipped locomotive around the layout with whistle blowing, bell clanging and all kinds of exhaust noise. We can run about 30 trains at one time and it gets loud with all of the locomotive sounds. Our open houses really bring in the families and it's especially great when three generations are watching a steam locomotive chuff around the layout while grandpa tries to tell his son and grandson how he used to see them run through town when he was a little boy!We encourage families to get involved in model railroading in order to keep the kids away from computer games and chat lines and build something with their hands and interact with others.
