Description | The Cuyahoga Valley Terminal Railroad models a fictional railroad that covers from Cleveland to Mineral City, Ohio during the 1950s. The story is that the line started as a terminal railroad in Cuyahoga Falls and gradually expanded to its present size. The railroad’s base of operations is still Cuyahoga Falls. Much of the business is coal from mines and general freight carried to all points of the system. Many other railroads have trackage rights on Cuyahoga Valley Terminal tracks. The club has a layout located in the basement of the the Whistle Stop Hobby Shop. It is a work in progress and was built as a semi-permanent modular layout with nearly 300 feet of main line track with the appropriate sidings and yards. Most of the track is laid and is functional with most of the signaling and some scenery in place. We meet weekly on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 P.M. The club invites you to visit and see what we have accomplished. Scale: HO |
