Description | The San Diego club hosted the National Garden Railway convention in 1990 and 2000. Attendance was 1700 in 1990 and 2600 in 2000. An on-going club project is a large scale model railroad in the patients' lounge at Children's Hospital in San Diego. LGB has been keeping the locos in good repair for free for many years. The kids run the trains every day. The club has rebuilt the railroad twice. Scale: G or Large Scale Live Steam |
