Description | The club has gained a few new membersand has started the conversion to DCC.The open house is scheduled the second weekend in Oct every year. Thisyears festival is Oct 8, 9, 10. Youngest member at this time is 7 years old. Young and old are welcome. A great chance to combine a love of history and model railroading. The 3 main line loops represent service to Carroll County in the form ofthe Pennsy, the New York Central, and the Nickle Plate road in the guiseof the Wheeling and Lake Erie. Primarily a coal hauling road. Animation is being added all over the layout. And for the kids there isusually a consist of Thomas the Tank engine or Shay logging consists anddoodlebug service.
